Overview The Practitioner/Patient Education Network (PEN™) fills the gap between your dynamic, on-demand web offerings and your high production value, “push” communications. PEN™ provides superior interactive experiences by leveraging the power of two technologies — the Internet, for retrieving timely information, and CD-ROM for delivering high-impact multimedia in real time. It works in several ways: The branded CD-ROM can be used to detail information with full-motion video and audio, as well as high resolution graphics and an encyclopedic volume of text. If the user's computer is connected to the Internet, the CD can look for the newest information and images to display. Alternatively, when using your website, the user can “unlock” rich-media content on their CD-ROM.
